Western Electric Type 313 A (?) Dated 1891, 1894 Magneto / Ringer Box  -  Oak. Type number is not clear; so there is some guess on the left side is a typical stamping as found on other very old Western Electric boxes. With the carved work “Patented” and then in U.S.A. Mar 31 1891 Jul. 17, 1894 Patent applied for made for the American Bell Telephone Co and license to be used only with its telephone on the front is Western Electric Company Chicago “New York”. Thus this is quite and old box probably made in 1896 or before. Call me to discuss other details and costs for a magneto etc. To go in the box.
