    his is a "WESTERN ELECTRIC" Model 553
    metal wall telephone originally manufactured
    in the late 1920s.
    Completely refurbished and repainted in the not so distant past.
    In good working condition and wired with a cloth modular cord for easy connecting in your home.
    Still has the small hook on the right side that was standard on these wall phones. That was to hang the string that was tied to the small -town directories!
