About this phone:
What makes this phone stand out is the nice
original paint that collectors covet.  It has a little
patina for authenticity.
The dial was cleaned, lightly oiled and checked for calibration
and returns nicely.  The porcelain number plate shows crisp
numbers.
The dial card is original and has an unusual cut out overlay that
reads "Please Wait For Dial Tone" in red.  It goes over the number
dial card and can be removed if you like so that just the standard
black and white dial card shows ( see photos).
If you prefer any other type of number card, let me know
and I can change it.
The hook switch and dial contacts were cleaned with original Bell
Telephone Seal Bond paper
specially designed for the purpose.
The transmitter cup is the older style type with the star in the
center.
The felt bottom is original and in good condition.
The sub cord and receiver cord are original, not
reproduction and are in nice condition.
A new line cord was installed so that it will fit into today's
modern land line jacks. Just plug it in.
The Candlestick requires a separate ringer box in order to
function.  This early 334 Ringer Box with outside Bells
is harder to find and makes for a beautiful display.  It was
completely disassembled, and repainted with care to be
like the original without being too shiny.
The phone is fully functional.  It sounds like an old time phone.
All antique rotary phones require a traditional landline
for dialing
out.  If you have another type of phone
service, check with your
provider as you may need
a pulse to tone converter to dial out.
They can be
purchased on
eBay
and easily added to the end of
the phone line jack.
