MODERN MODULAR LINE CORD IS READY TO PLUG INTO RJ11 JACK USED IN MOST ALL HOMES
Designed by Bell and manufactured by their Western Electric Division this was their earliest dial desk telephone. The early steel subset contains ringer, induction coil and capacitors. It was usually fastened to the wall near the telephone. There is plenty of cord to allow it to be placed out of sight is desired.
The rare #2AB dial makes a distinctive clicking sound when rotated that collectors like. They are hard to find and quite costly. The porcelain alpha numeric number plate is in excellent condition. The dial finger wheel is solid brass and painted black.
Serious collectors will appreciate this telephone as it has all of the proper dates and markings. It is in working condition and provides good sound quality.
