    " Vintage WALL MOUNTED WOODEN CASE TELEPHONE from the
    SWEDISH-AMERICAN TELEPHONE COMPANY
    . It has a
    BUILT-IN MICROPHONE
    in the BOX and a
    LARGE BELL
    .

    I have been buying/selling vintage telephones for years and this is the
    FIRST
    and
    ONLY ONE
    of
    ITS KIND
    that I have seen!!!
    Opening the box, one sees all of the
    PERIOD ELECTRONICS
    that appears to be
    COMPLETE
    . The
    EARPIECE
    has the
    Swedish-American Telephone Company, Chicago, ILL.
    imprinted in the bakelite earpiece screw-on cap. Please see photos for a better idea of its condition. The wooden box measures 9 3/4" long x 5 1/4" wide x 4" deep. The
    WOOD
    appears to be
    CHERRY
    . There are
    FIVE PUSH BUTTON SWITCHES
    just below the Bell. The
    BELL
    has a very nice tone when it is rung. The
    CLOTH CORD
    is in excellent condition for its age.
