    Description

    Vintage Long Distance Telephone
Another eBay viewer kindly gave me information on this telephone after I posted it. He said that this was made by a company in Ohio called North Electric. It has a frequency ringer and was used on a party line. It will only work on a 20 cycle version private line. He said that some is the most common cycle; however, some are 33 cycles.
Please see the pictures for the condition of this cool phone - I am not sure which year it was made, but it is definitely an older version.
The bottom of the phone has this stamped "8H6HBD, 50 Cycle Ringer."  Someone changed the "50" to a "30."
It has a tag attached to the bottom, which I didn't remove.
Phone hasn't been cleaned up or worked on. Selling it "as is."
This is part of my 90-year-old father's estate. He was a mechanic for Eastern Airlines, and he was also in the Air Force. He loved collecting all types of antiques, including automotive, oil/gas, airline items, and MANY other types of collectibles.
If you are interested in his other items, please see the other items that I have posted. I will be adding more things from his estate almost daily. Please feel free to ask if you have questions. Though I don't have expertise in most of them, I'm happy to answer what I can!
    Thanks for your interest!
