Vintage 1930s Black Bakelite leich modern electric Phon with Bakelite Subset Box

is a great pair phone itself seems to be in great condition. The subset or ringer box seems to work when I spin the handle but not sure how to test this in general? The wringer box has a few spots with paint and I noticed one imperfection on the side of ringer box see photos. see where my fingers are pointing. Overall really great set hard to find a ring in a box like that
very unique also has a switch on it.
