    Manufactured by the A.O.I.P (Association of Workers in Precision Instruments). This civilian telephone was also ordered in large quantities by the military during the First World War. The differences between the military and civilian regulatory model are the absence of a manufacturer's plate. This phone does not have the manufacturer’s engraved plate.
