    paper-back booklets all referring to "THE
    ROMANCE OF STROMBERG-CARLSON
    HANDSETS". All of this is about the model
    1212 bakelite telephone, but more importantly
    about the 1212 Telephone Handset!
    This writing is about how the handset came into being. Prior to that, the Transmitter & Receiver were provided separately.
    They do go into some detail explaining the "Artificial Mouth" and the "Artificial Ear" as used in the engineering efficiency in development of this handset and also the new Transformer  and Induction Coil.
    Stromberg-Carlson had a lot to say about
