    Restored, Beautiful Wall Phone, Ready to Use!
    Up for auction this original Deco Wall phone model 1211 from Stromberg Carlson. Popular in the 30's and 40's, this phones is a wonderful example of the Deco era. We have cleaned, polished and re-wired it to work right out of the box. Nice sounding original two gong brass ringer to signal incoming calls. It has the very early multi flatted handset and magnetic disc receiver. No damage to this beautiful hard to find handset. There ARE two small chips in the cathedral top dial holder as shown in pics 8 and 9. They actually show more in the photos than in person. They never resulted in any cracks and the overall body is free from damage. It has the original Stromberg Carlson dial with a nickled fingerwheel that has dulled from age, but still nice.  We've fitted it with a new black modular line cord and a new era correct long black cloth handset cord.
    Use it everyday or add to your collection.
    This phone will work on any STANDARD landline. Certain newer modems or other VOIP phones systems will require a "Pulse to Tone converter" to dial out. These are readily available online, otherwise, it's an answer only telephone. Don't miss out on this collectible telephone.
