Set of 4 Lash’s root beer pottery mugs – all different

Description

This is a set of 4 Lash’s Root Beer pottery mugs all with the same striped mug design and same coloration with each handle on the right as the logo faces you. They all have “16” either stamped or printed on the bottom denoting the content size, 16 ozs. From left to right in the 4 mug picture they measure about 5¾”, 5½”, 6-3/8” and 6¼”. mugs are free of flea bites or chips, hairlines or cracks and stains. The 2
nd
mug has a ¼” flea bite that’s not very deep on the rim (see picture). I call it a flea bite because it could also possibly be a glaze pop since it’s shallow. Mug #4 marked “Lash’s” has a large 1” ding in the rim with hairline cracks down the body about 7/8” that could cause a large chip to pop out if bumped hard again (see picture). I don’t believe there is any serious crazing on any of the mugs. Crazing has become very hard for me to see ever since my cataract surgery – price of getting old. Typically, pottery mugs were not very fancy so they could be mass produced and may have slight gouges, pockmarks, small lumps or other factory imperfections sealed under the glaze. Overall, these are decent and the last of the Lash’s brand I have.
