    Today out local estate comes this cool old railroad linesman phone from a man who worked for the B&O RR way back in the teens and 1920’s. It is a neat old 1909 Patent Western Electric Model 285W Stainless Steel and Bakelite Railroad Telephone handset. It looks to be in great condition , stainless looks to be in need of good polish with a soft cloth. The Detroit Coil Company oak battery or coil box
    or battery box is also in very nice condition. A nice set of you have a use for it.
