    Description

Sometimes imitated, never duplicated - the
    original
    944 3D-Printed Shifter Dampers!
    Over 500 sets sold!
The Only944 shift lever is made of
    thinner
metal than the OE version 477711205 (477.711.205), so using the original Porsche rubber dampers WILL result in a loose shift knob that rotates in your hand.
    Solution
    - A matched set (pair) of
    ORANGE
polyurethane shifter dampers (bushings).  These are specifically sized for the thinner
    Only944
    shifter lever.
If you have the stock shifter lever, I suggest upgrading to my
    GREEN
shifter dampers instead - eBay listing here:

    How to install
    (picture series below):
    1. Locate shifter - it should look like this
    2. Pull inwards and up on leather boot near the front facing edge and it will pop-out.
    3. Pull up on rubber inner boot
    4. Remove clip - don't lose it!
    5. Pull upwards on shift knob - it will slide off shift lever and reveal the two factory rubber vibration dampers.
    6. Remove the dampers.  They are soft and have an inner protrusion that locks into the notches on the lever.
    7. Install the new dampers.  These will be tighter and they are also more stiff, so it might take a bit more work to get them into place.
    8.  Reinstall the shift knob/boot, sliding it over the new dampers.  It will be tighter than stock and may require a bit more effort.
    9. Reinstall the snap ring.
    10. Reinstall the inner rubber boot around the opening in the floor.
    11. Reinstall the outer leather shift boot into the console - it will snap into place.
    12. Enjoy a tighter shift knob!
