Old Rare Art Deco Crank Magneto Powered Telephone in Black Wooden Cabinet BBB

This antique telephone measures 7" tall x 10 1/8" deep x 9 5/8" wide (not including the crank which is another 2"), and has a nice Art Deco design. There likely was a piece of fabric behind the window, but now you can see in to the 2 large bells and large magneto generator inside. The bells ring loud and clear when the crank is turned. The cord is cloth covered and some of that cloth came loose at the end towards the case. The bakelite handset is marked 'Leich' and is in very good condition with no cracks or breaks. The wooden case has very good original paint and a wistful silvery design that is highlighted depending upon the light. There is a thin hairline in the wood (1 1/2") on the back right corner, but overall is in excellent condition and just needs a bit of cleaning. The case is attached to the base by screws, so you can easily access the inner parts. Not sure how or if it functions, but I'm sure this would be a centerpiece for any collection. It weighs 17 1/2 lbs unboxed. Good luck!
