    Civil War Store Card for H.H. Robinson, Dry Goods & Groceries Merchant in New London, Butler County, Ohio

    Mr. Robinson obtained store cards from Cincinnati token maker John Stanton who prepared a single custom die that was combined with several stock reverse dies for token production.  At least three or four different token varieties were released into circulation including this very scarce variety.  This is a choice uncirculated specimen with above average eye appeal.
