Holley 350/500 Float Bowl Baffle/Chimney Kit, Off Road

Description

This is a float bowl baffling kit needed on your Holley 350 or 500 two barrel for off road use. As you've already found out, once your rig bounces in off road terrain, or more importantly gets very nose high on hill climbs, raw gas can spill out of the float bowl and directly into the throat of the carburetor.  This kit includes a new plastic baffle that extends across the float bowl horizontally to plug off the float bowl "vent hole" while still allowing air to enter the float bowl. Kit also includes a stainless steel chimney that extends vertically up to the top of the air cleaner (see last photo above). Now gas would have to bounce up into the horizontal baffle, then bounce up to the top lid of the air cleaner- - -won't happen!!!!!.  Also included is a new "re-usable" float bowl gasket. We recommend installing the plastic float bowl baffle with JB Weld (two part epoxy) because it (a) locks the baffle into the metering plate, and (b) seals the baffle so gas can not seep around the outside edges of the baffle.
