    Description

    Up for your consideration is this Gray Telephone Model 20 Folding Handle Portable Pay station. Very Rare. It is in all original condition. Made in the late 1800's, early 1900's. On the coin collection box there is a placard with the letters and numbers L43377. There is no key for the coin box. On the card there is "The number of this telephone is" and" Do Not Deposit money until operator asks for it " and in small print it says," Gray Telephone Pay sta co mfd CT Pat'd May 23, 1911". The handle folds up and down. The cord is original cloth with an extra accessory black and white cover for protection. It measures 12 inches tall, 8 1/2 inches wide with arm, and 3 1/2 inches deep. It weighs almost 13 pounds.
