We offer this series so that anyone can afford to have an EMAX Compressor. The heart of it all.. At the core of every EMAX compressor is our Solid Cast Iron reciprocating pumps. Our Patented Pressure lubricated pumps are designed for extreme industrial environments where excellence is demanded. These pumps were designed with high duty-cycle, with potentially high temperature environments, but are suited for any application. An internal rotary type oil pump provides pressurized oil flow to all critical components. These pumps are SUPER quiet in operation and built to last! Key differences: Patented Pressure Lubricated 2-stage cast iron pump with dual control design allows for automatic or continuous run rated at up to 70,000 hours
Re-usable oil filter Oil Pressure Gauge Low RPM solid cast iron crankcase reduces vibration and extends pump life precision balanced solid cast iron crankshaft to ensure smooth & efficient operation with less drag and less energy use. All steel connecting rods with replaceable rod bearing inserts to lengthen rod life and simplify service. Removable 100% cast iron cylinders and cylinder heads. These solid cast iron cylinders are more stable under heavy workloads and withstand stress from heat. Disc valve design intake and exhaust valves increase efficiency and lengthen life. Disc valves have been around for over 100 years and have been proven to perform. Precision ground pistons machined to tight tolerances, increase efficiency and oil control. Premium non-absorbent gaskets prevent oil seepage from pump.
All cast iron flywheel with built-in fan, increases efficiency and balance. Finned cast iron maximizes cooling and lengthens life Built-in head unloaders -These unloaders are built into the intake valve assembly on the compressor head and perform a valuable function. Under constant run applications they help to reduce internal pump temperature by allowing fresh air to move in and out of the cylinder chamber. This fresh air absorbs the heat out of the pump under heavy workloads. Built-in inter-cooler and after-coolers. The inter-cooler allows air to be cooled between stages while the air cooled after-cooler provides a second cooling stage that cools the air before it goes into the tank.
Our after-cooler also includes an all copper main feed line from the pump into the tank. Dependable Electric Motor This unit has an Industrial grade name brand OPD (open drip motors). These motors are low 1750 rpm, with high torque factor they run cooler giving them extended life. Additional Motor Features: Large 1-3/8 output shaft High quality ball bearings on the front and rear of the motor shaft Large starting and running capacitors 15 Service Factor load. This means the motor can be pulled 15% over full load for more break horsepower Dynamically balanced armature for low vibration levels
BELT GUARD - EMAX Compressor manufactures the belt guards for all their compressors. These belt guards have an OSHA approved safety rating. With 13 G steel, premium grade expanded metal finished with powder coat these guards add up to be the toughest in the industry today.
Condor Switch This unit has a prewired condor starter and pressure switch built into one with 175PSI rating. Along with this philosophy, our air tanks are manufactured right here in the USA and are ASME code compliant in 50 states including California.
CONTROLS & COMPONENTS EMAX Compressor strive to only use top-quality components on our compressors. All safety valves are 100% brass and comply to ASME code. Valves are preset and sealed for correct settings.  Top quality plumbing fittings are used to maintain proper sealing when connected to the tank.  High quality 100% brass ball valves are used for turning air on and off from the air receiver.  Extended tank water drain pipe plumbed out the front of the unit with a ball valve handle for easy tank draining.
MOTOR PULLEY AND BELTS- Taper lock style 2-groove pulleys along with dual 2-groove, B-Style belts to drive our pumps. Provides lower vibration, stability and reduces noise during operation.
Our Piston Compressors are ETL Certified and listed for US and Canada and compliant with to all Safety Standards.
