    Civil War Store Card for John D. and Charles B Standish, Pork and Wool Dealers in Detroit, Michigan

    The Standishes obtained store card tokens from an unidentified token maker.  Two custom dies were prepared and tokens were struck for circulation on copper planchets.  This is a choice uncirculated specimen that is sharply struck with cartwheel luster.
