Carnival glass is pressed glass with mineral or metallic salts added during the manufacturing process to create the iridescent rainbow of colors. I believe this color is called electric purple. The glass is thick and weighty! A truly stunning piece!
Carnival glass gets its name from the fact that it was a common prize at carnivals from around 1907 to 1925. Despite its name, most iridescent carnival glass was actually sold in stores.
Carnival glass became popular again in the 1960s and 1970s and was still produced through the 2000s in smaller quantities.
I can’t identify the manufacturer because many companies did not place a mark on their carnival glass although I do believe this could be Fenton.

6 inches in diameter at the top and 4-1/4 inches in diameter at the base x 4-7/8 inches high

Excellent with no sign of use.
