    Beautiful Western Electric Tiger Oak Wall Phone – Works on Telephone Lines Bells ring when Magneto is cranked -Works as an extension telephone on a standard phone line. This is a beautiful tiger oak Western Electric wall phone which will answer incoming calls. It measures 19” tall 18” wide. It unusual for Western Electric to use such beautiful tiger oak when manufacturing their telephones. The phone is in great shape no cracks or chips in the wood. The phone has a 3 bar magneto and when the crank is turned the bells ring loudly. The receiver and transmitter are Western Electric capsules. The bells are 2 ½” each and ring when the magnet crank is turned. The bells do not ring on incoming calls only when the magneto is cranked. The bells had to be removed from the telephone lines to avoid causing problems with your telephone service. A quality Western Electric 101A network, receiver and transmitter capsules were added to the telephone to provide quality telephone service on today’s telephone lines. The receiver and telephone line cords have been replaced with a new cloth cords and the line cord has a modular plug. This means all you need to do is plug the phone into a standard telephone RJ11 jack and you have a working telephone. This is a beautiful Western Electric tiger oak wall phone that will look good in any place in your home. Since it is functional as an extension phone. You will be able to answer incoming calls and talk to callers.

    This is a beautiful tiger oak Western Electric wall phone which will answer incoming calls.  It measures 19” tall 18” wide.  It unusual for Western Electric to use such beautiful tiger oak when manufacturing their telephones.
