    Description

    This is a Handy-Mike made by Connecticut Telephone & Electric in Meriden, CT.
    The estimated manufacturing date is the 1930's but could be sometime in the 20's or 40's.
    We are not exactly sure of what this was used for. It was advertised as Talk, Sing, or Croon. So maybe something similar to Karaoke.
    It measures about 9 1/2" long and the, speaking housing is about 4" diameter and 1" thick and made of gold-colored aluminum.
    The wire is about 10' long.
    It's in excellent barely used condition.
    The housing coloring is still bright and it has a few minor marks.
    The handle is wooden, still bright in color and has almost no wear.
    The wire is speaker wire size and has some fraying, mostly where it goes into the handle.
