    Description

    Antique Art Deco Northern Electric 302 Rotary Dial Desk Telephone. Underside of handset is embossed:
    NORTHERN ELECTRIC
    COMPANY LIMITED
    PATENTED 1922 1923 RD 1935
    F1
    MADE IN CANADA
    Phone is complete and in nice condition with only minor wear. Was purchased at an auction many years ago. I believe it was in working condition when purchased but I have not been able to test it in the past several years (no phone jack). It does have a 5' cord with a modern plug. It has a porcelain numbers and it looks like a brass dial under the black. There is minor wear to the finish but overall nice condition.
    *UPDATE* I have been advised that this is actually an early 1940's model. Prior to 1941 the housing was made of metal. In 1941 they switched to Bakelite.
