1967 Ford F-100 Ranger

Description

This beautiful and very rare 1967 Ford F-100 Ranger short wheelbase truck has been in our family for 28 years, and I'm listing it for sale at my father's request. Here are the details he wrote up for me to include.
This truck came with a 6-cylinder and 3 speed column shift transmission, air conditioning, and special trim on the body and tailgate. My son owned it for a decade or so, and I have owned it now twice. It was bought new in Shreveport, LA. by the original owner whom I knew. A new interior and Highliner headliner was installed a good number of years ago, but it is still in great shape.
These things have been done over the last three years.
1. Installed new carpet
2. Installed new door/cab seals
3. Installed new door/window feltings
4. Installed new brakes, master cylinder and booster
5. Installed new tires
6. Purchased and installed all new chrome, except grill and headlight caps--they are the polished originals
7. Installed new dual exhaust
8. The engine is a 351 Windsor with 4-barrelintake and carburetor and electronic ignition. The engine has less than 3,000miles.
9. The battery is less than a year old.
10. As you can see by the pictures, it has a roll pan and custom tailgate.
11. It has a raised wood bed that is mounted on angle iron. Heavy duty Velcro secures the raised wood bed.
12. Custom gas filler top, gas tank and line.

14. New glove box and button
15. The shocks are performance shocks. They are not new but have very low use and work great.
16. The rear differential has new seals and fresh oil.
17. It has the original floor mat that came with the truck.
18. The steering shaft has new bearings, shift collar, new bushings, and steering wheel. I have the original steering wheel that goes with the truck.
In 2018 and 2019, I had 2 personal setbacks, one was open heart surgery.  Each setback took a year to get over. I have found I can't do certain things anymore. I am not able to even look at the fuse box due to vision problems that I have when I am in that position.
It needs:
1. A heater core. I have a new heater core that goes with the truck.
2. The windshield has 2 cracks and some discoloration in a couple of places. I have a new windshield seal that goes with the truck.
3. Turn signal switch
4. A week ago when I last took it for a drive, the speedometer needle stopped working, so the speedometer cable will need to be replaced. The odometer hasn't worked in years, so the listed mileage is not original.
I have been honest on the assessment of this truck.
When I drive it, I am given thumbs up and when I stop people look at it and take pictures of it and offer me money for it. It turns heads everywhere. This is not a fire sale, it is just time to let someone else enjoy it. My reserve is set
modestly and I hope you get this jewel of a little truck. The paint is 3 years old and it is by Jaguar, Botanical Green Mist Metallic. The roof is House of Color, Candy Organic Green.
