HISTORY:
THIS TRUCK WAS USED EXCLUSIVELY TO DELIVER FRUIT GROWN IN FAIR OAKS, CA. FROM 1963 TO 1986 TO THE TRAIN STATION IN ROSEVILLE, CA. THE OWNER AND HIS 8 BROTHER'S RAN A FRUIT FARM IN FAIR OAKS CA. FOR THEIR PARENT'S AND AT HARVEST THEY LOADED THE TRUCK WITH CRATES OF PLUMS, NECTARINES, PEACHES, AND SEVERAL OTHER FRUITS AND OFF TO THE TRAIN DROP SO THE FRUIT COULD BE SHIPPED TO THE EAST COAST.

Drives and shifts good, brakes good transmission and rearend run smooth. I purchased one quart of rust kill Por15 Clear to test how the Patina would look if re-cleared to kill any rust growth and preserve the originality of the Unibody. If you look close I painted a 2 by 1 foot section around the filler neck exterior on the top of the bed. I have not cleared the entire truck as I thought whoever buys it can make their own decision whether to clear original or re-paint to color of choice.
There is no rust other than the exterior surface rust you see in the pic's. Underneath is super clean showing surface rust but no rot through anywhere, interior is still bright original paint and the instrument panel bright and clean as well. Generator light comes on when key is turned to on position and light shuts off when running. Head lights low and high beam work, turn signals work front and back. Original horn is installed but the horn relay needs replacing in order for the horn to work.
