    Description

A circa 1915 (preprinted date is 191-) Auburn Telephone Company, California payment card with
slots to Insert seven coins on the inside of the card.
The patent dates on the card are 1901 and 1915.  The total telephone bill was .65.  The name of Auburn Telephone Company was scratched out and changed to B. P. Telephone Company.  The card came from an estate in Auburn, California which I assume is where the telephone company was located.
When closed the payment card is 5 x 3 1/8 inches in size.  The card is in nice condition with no tears or creases.
